Símbolo judío por excelencia. También se conoce como Estrella de Salomón o Estrella de la Creación.

Hoy, la estrella de David es un simbolo universal reconocido por los judíos. Aparece en la bandera del estado de Israel, y es el equivalente israelí de la Cruz Roja que se conoce como el Magen David Adom.

El David en hebreo antiguo se compone de tres letras “Dalet”, “Vav” y “Dalet”. La letra Dalet en hebreo antiguo es realmente un triangulo. El Rey David utilizo la estrella como su firma.
