HANUKA JANUKA CHANUCA
La asimilacion de judíos y el paganismo tirano “siempre” fueron obstaculos para el judío.
Januka, es la fiesta de la reaccion judía ante aquellos males y por eso se festeja tan abierta y alegremente en Israel (encendemos las velas de la janukia, comemos sufganiot dulces, cantamos y salimos a pasear, y los mas religiosos, rezan).
Januka, se conoce como la fiesta de las luces ó de la dedicación, dura ocho días y comienza el 25 del mes de kislev.
Januka vine de la palabra hebrea “Khanu” que significa ‘y ellos descansaron’ y las letras hebrea “Kaf” y “Hey” que forman el numero ’25′ y es así, por eso que Januka comieza el 25 de Kislev.
Januka nos relata la historia de una de las grandiosas victorias de los judíos sobre los greco-syrios quienes los gobernaban y los oprimían.
Matitiaju Cohen-gadol (el sumo sacerdote) y su hijo menor Yehudah fueron valientes llevando a los yehudim (judíos) a la victoria de Y’srael y la restauración del Beit Hamikdash (templo).
¿Por qué el Beth-HaMikdash tuvo que ser purificado?
Así que, recordemos y contemos lo que gracias a estos hombres valientes y a Hashem, nuestro pueblo nunca, nunca, podrá ser apagado.
Después de la muerte de Alejandro el Grande, el gran conquistador y amigo de nuestro pueblo, su imperio fue dividido entre sus generales. Antioco Epifanes gobernó Y’srael y Judea. Cuando Antioco Epifanes se hizo rey de los Greco- Sirios, no solo le agrado poner mas impuestos y hacer que los judíos le rindieran honor, sino que ahora quería que nuestros padres no leyeran la Torah y no guardaran los mitzvot (mandamientos) de Hashem y fueran substituidas por el Helenismo griego y por los ídolos griegos. Antioco fue un hombre que trató a los judíos con una maldad terrible ganándose el nombre de “Antioco el loco”.
Al Beit-HaMikdash lo ensucio poniendo ídolos paganos y sacrificando marranos.
Prohibió a los judíos los mitzvot; el Brit-Milah (circuncisión), observar el Rosh-Jodesh (la luna llena) y el Shabat. Además que las mujeres judías eran maltratadas.
Los judíos que se mantenían fiel a Hashem eran torturados y pagaban con sus vidas. Las madres no podían hacer el brit-Milah a sus recién nacidos, si lo hacían pagaban con la muerte y el bebe era colgado, los que asistían a la ceremonia eran ejecutados y quitaban sus propiedades.
Un día, un hombre valiente que se llamaba Matitiaju, quien era el Cohen (sacerdote) de la aldea Modi’in cerca de Lod en Judea, el y todos de la aldea habían sido reunidos por el gobernador de esa región para sacrificar un marrano a un ídolo pagano en honor del decreto de Atioco y este, seria hecho por un judío-helenista (judío asimilado a los griegos-sirios.
Matitiaju se enojo al ver que ensuciaban el nombre de Hashem e inmediatamente se paró y mato al traidor y con una voz fuerte grito “Mi La’Hashem Elay” (Quien es por Hashem, venga).
Por temor solo un grupo pequeño de gente lo siguió pero, Matitiaju y sus cinco hijos guiaron a la gente a defender el nombre de Hashem y pelear en contra los Greco-Sirios.
Matitiaju – después de su muerte dejó a sus hijos a cargo de la batalla y a Juda el Macabeo, su segundo hijo, el liderazgo. Juda fue un grandioso guerrero, él y sus hombres ganaron muchas batallas. Y en pocos años derrotaron al ejercito de Siria.
Ahora, la victoria era de a aquellos que siguieron puros, rectos y de los defensores de la Torah. Gracias a estos valientes el reino de Y’srael fue restaurado por 200 años hasta la destrucción del segundo Beit-HaMikdash.
Yehudah y sus hombres subieron al monte de Y’rushalaim y vieron que no había resistencia. Se abrieron camino a la Santa Ciudad -en el dia 25 del mes de Kislev. Se dirigieron al Beit-HaMikdash y lo que vieron: ídolos, suciedad e impureza en todo lugar. El Beit-HaMikdash tenia que ser purificado. Judas mandó a purificar el Templo e instalar un nuevo ara en lugar del destruido.
A continuación, el Templo volvió a consagrarse a D-os con festejos que duraron ocho días.
Según la tradición talmúdica, fue posible encontrar un solo cantarillo de aceite de oliva ritualmente puro, con el sello del Cohen Gadol, el rito de reconsagración. Sin embargo, esa pequeña cantidad ardió milagrosamente durante los ocho días.
Una de las principales características de la celebración actual, que conmemora este milagro, es el encendido de velas, una la primera noche, dos la segunda, y así hasta que al final la última jornada arden todas en un candelabro especial de ocho brazos.
La principal fuente del relato de Hanuká se halla en el Talmud.
Por esos ocho días de milagro que celebramos Januka. Y por ocho días en que cada tarde encendemos nuestras luces de Januka y asi publicamos y recordamos ese milagro que D–s hizo con nuestros padres.

The new Zune browser is surprisingly good, but not as good as the iPods. It works well, but isnt as fast as Safari, and has a clunkier interface. If you occasionally plan on using the web browser thats not an issue, but if youre planning to browse the web alot from your PMP then the iPods larger screen and better browser may be important.
